Tiger prawn or Asian tiger shrimp is a species of shrimp that comes from the coastal waters of the Indo-Pacific region, which can reach a length of 33 cm.
Its health benefits are: cardiovascular benefits, blood pressure control, improvement in arrhythmias and protection against cancer.
Ingredients:
- 3 Tiger Prawns per person
- 4 Cloves of garlic
- 1 Chilli Pepper
- 1 Bay leaf
- Coriander
- Salt
- 5 Tablespoons of olive oil
Method:
Remove the shells from the shrimps tail leaving its end and set aside.
Then cut so as to make a line in the back of the shrimp and remove its guts and then clean through water.
Turn on the stove and place to heat a frying pan with olive oil, crushed garlic, bay leaf, chopped coriander, chilli, shrimp shells and season with salt.
Let it fry until it turns to a pink sauce and the garlic is toasted.
Put the prawns in the frying pan and allow to fry for 1 minute and a half. Turn off the stove.
You can accompany the prawns with a little lemon juice.
